Powder Chase - Day 1
My brother (Kobi) and I planned a Colorado snowboarding trip for several months prior to setting a date. We wanted to plan the trip around the time in the season with the best odds to get fresh snow. We finally settled on the dates - Saturday 2/17/2018 - Friday 2/23/2018. After catching a United flight from RDU (Raleigh, NC) I flew into Denver on Saturday and boarded the Light Rail Service from the Denver International Airport to Union Station in Downtown Denver. This was a 35 minute train ride for only $9 - way cheaper and more convenient than an Uber ($25 - $30). The light rail has storage space on board for luggage and ski/snowboards. I met my brother at Snooze in Union Station where he has worked for a year or so. The Nana’s Hot Cocoa Pancakes are definitely a must try. Once my appetite was satisfied we set out to explore the city on bicycles. We decided to check out a few of Kobi's favorite breweries - 10 Barrel Brewing Co. and Epic Brewing Company. Once our craft beer thirst was quenched we decided to stop at Park Burger - where Bob Ross graces the projector screen - for beers and burgers before turning in for the night.
